screwyoumarvelSteve had decided to try something he liked to call 'tactics' on Bucky. Chasing him all over the island would be ineffective, as Bucky was...easily startled. And good at hiding. So Steve was going to try to be patient and draw him out.
And if that didn't work he was going to stake out his hotel room. Fury had assured Steve he had one, but he didn't know the number. Steve was sure he could get it somehow.
Waiting, however, was a nerve-wracking process. So Steve was baking chocolate chip cookies, because chocolate chip cookies made everything better. He was now up to ten dozen, so possibly he'd gone a little overboard. But if Bucky showed up, he could have some. As could anyone else who showed up, because there were totally enough cookies for all.
