Steve was settling in for a pleasant evening with his jazz records and his paints. He'd gotten a concerning text from Tony a few days ago, but enough time had passed without any kind of drunken overdramatic followup that he thought they might be in the clear for the time being.

Ha.

"I do. Jarvis kept them connecting it to the one back home," Tony replied, digging out pamphlets from various companies who had already approached him. The top of the pile was Roxxon Energy Corporation. "It's not exactly turning a profit, though."

Steve considered the pamphlets for a moment before saying slowly, "Well, I guess...where do you want to work?" Please don't say big oil.

"Well, I was thinking you could help steer me in the right direction."

He fanned them out, revealing on for Oscorp, Shaw Industries, Rand-Meachum, Inc., Future Foundation, and AIM.

The last one was Tony thinking he was funny.

Oh, it could be worse than Big Oil.

Steve was just going to...delicately pick the pamphlets for Oscorp, Shaw Industries, and AIM out of the pile. "Okay, well...how about...not these?"

"Aww, but Shaw invited me to his private club to sweeten the deal," Tony joked. Because yeah, he so wanted to go clubbing with a creeper.

"I don't think that's a club you would want to go to," Steve said carefully.

"Which leaves Reed Richards' think tank and Danny Rand's company. Did you know I just barely missed meeting him in Tibet?" So unfair.
