Office Hours, Friday

Steve was in his office on Friday for his usual office hours, alternately working on the paperwork needed to request art supplies and sketching in his sketchbook. His door was open, and he was happy to talk to anyone who might want to stop by.

Steve rubbed his forehead for a moment before asking, "Is Topher what you named your armor?" God, Tony, why would you do that?

"...no." That was a horrifying thought, actually. "Unless you count the upgraded armor. Or the space armor. Or... stealth armor."

A beat.

"Or the Dynamobuster armor."

"It's worse than I thought," Steve muttered, then sighed and asked again, "Is your armor trying to kill you? Or kidnap you? Has it professed its undying love? If so, you need to tell me and we need to leave now."

"My armor is fine." And he was totally running a systems check to make sure it didn't try to kill, kidnap, or love him. "I got a drunk phone call from a friend about thinking I'm attractive. And, for the record, that's an eerily specific list of things my armor might do."

"Is it?" Steve asked, his voice a little dry with sarcasm. "I hadn't noticed. Is your friend trying to kidnap you?"

Tony stared at him for a moment. "We're jumping to 'kidnapping' pretty quickly here."

"You say that now," Steve said. "Give it a few years. So is he or she?"

"He." Tony was very concerned about his personal safety now, Steve. "Does this mean we're going to learn more advanced fight moves so I don't get kidnapped by my armor that's in love with me?"

"Maybe," Steve said. Why did you think he was teaching you this stuff to start with, Tony? Come on, now. "So Topher, your friend, thinks you're attractive. But he's not trying to kidnap you." Yet.
